My name is Dave Engel and I am a graphic designer who specializes in branding and packaging design. I graduated from Salisbury University Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

Functionality is the most critical part of design. Graphic Design is an objective from of visual communication, and while there are other important concepts to consider when creating, utility is the primary goal. Great design is simple enough to avoid complexity but must also be unique enough to stand out.  For me, the balance between these dualistic oppositions is the most challenging part of creating a practical design.
